LAURA CAMERON
INSTRUCTION LIBRARIAN
Laura Cameron is a highly experienced academic librarian, having worked for more than ten years in academic libraries that span from small community colleges to large R1 universities. Laura has dedicated her career to information literacy instruction. She’s taught and supported students at every level—from first-year undergraduates to PhD candidates—always with a focus on adapting instruction to meet diverse student needs. She is committed to ensuring that libraries are a welcome and accessible space for all.
Laura’s research experience is broad and varied. She has served as a co-author and search expert on several systematic and scoping reviews in addition to her own scholarly work. Laura’s personal research interests include disciplinary specific information literacy instruction and mental health in a library context.
